Getting Started

You deserve to have your name in lights... shining brightly on a wall, on the floor or anywhere you can imagine. We keep it very easy for you - 5 steps and then you're done.

Step 2

Select a gobo design, indicate both date and time of event and send it to nameinlightsvancouver@gmail.com

Step 3

We will send you a proof for approval.

Step 4

Approved designs will be sent out and cut into glass only when full payment is received ($350 non-refundable)

Post a testimonial on this site by emailing nameinlightsvancouver@gmail.com with what you thought!

* Step 5 is optional but appreciated.

What is the cost?

$350 includes:

Up to 2 hours of design time working with you to create your gobo
Delivery to any event in the lower mainland
Event set up (one location)
Event take down

Optional add-on costs:

Additional design time - $25 per half-hour
Tripod rental - $50 each
Transfer gobo to additional locations - $50 per location change
Site visit / site test - $50 per test
Event location outside of the lower mainland - Cost dependent on the location.

Cancellation policy: Once a gobo has been approved, paid and ordered we are unable to refund your payment. You will however be given the laser cut gobo to keep and will receive a $50 credit (good for 12 months from date of issue) towards future rentals.

What is a gobo?

A metal or glass disc with a laser cut design that allows light to pass through and projects the design onto dark surfaces - a "go between". Name In Lights prefers glass discs because of the higher quality and sharper design transfer.

Why Name In Lights?

We are experienced with gobo designs, our set up and take down teams are respectful and mindful of lines of sight and we prioritise our client's needs. We like to make things simple and stress-free. Just 5 steps to add Name In Lights to your event.

Why a special projector?

Gobo projectors are designed to focus an intense light through the gobo. Name in Lights uses LED projectors to provide clients with brighter design images reliably throughout the night.

If we have rented a gobo and projector from Name In Lights you automatically become our friend and will enjoy benefits such as:

We keep your gobo on file for your future use.
Future rental of the same gobo is available at a reduced rate ($250 per event).
Free transfer of gobo to one additional location for the same gobo or a new gobo.
Half price for additional design time if you need a new gobo.
Opportunity to take advantage of other friend benefits offered periodically.
